Great Yarmouth Marketplace Public Realm

Leading the client-side project management for Great Yarmouth Borough Council’s Market Place public realm works, we aim to sympathetically improve the functionality of the space whilst being sensitive to the location’s heritage.

Great Yarmouth Beach Huts

Greyfriars were thrilled to be appointed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council to provide procurement support and project management for the colourful new development of Great Yarmouth’s Beach Huts.

Hay Hill, Norwich City Centre

Hay Hill re-opened in October 2024, featuring a new layout with a public garden, level access, more seating, and a new water feature. Find out more about our involvement with this project and our work with Norwich City Council.

Elder Farm, Welney

Elder Farm is a county farms property located in Welney, Norfolk. At the outset of the project, the building was in a poor condition, requiring structural repairs and significant internal and external works to bring it back to life and up to standard for a new tenant farmer.

Trees for Cities, Great Yarmouth

This project planted over 500 trees to support green jobs and provide a boost for nature recovery. Expanding tree canopy cover increased resilience against the effects of climate change and supported local greening and biodiversity strategies in response to the climate crisis.

Safer Streets, Great Yarmouth

This project aimed to improve the environment in residential areas with a package of safety and crime-prevention measures, including the installation of street-lighting and CCTV, and the employment of a Community Safety Officer.

Transport for Norwich

Transport for Norwich is a programme of work to improve accessibility by all forms of transport around the city. Greyfriars led the project management of the strategy review, and the revised strategy was approved by Cabinet in December 2021.

Gull Wing Bridge, Lowestoft

The Lowestoft Lake Lothing Third Crossing is an exciting and much needed piece of infrastructure that will provide a much-needed link from Waveney Drive (South) to Denmark Road and Peto Way (North) of Lake Lothing.

Great Yarmouth Business Incubator

The Incubator is an exciting project in South Denes for Great Yarmouth Borough Council. The aim of the project is to create a new Business Incubation centre, to provide facilities and support for start-up business.

Diana Way Park, Caister-on-Sea

We were appointed by Great Yarmouth Borough Council to lead the delivery of a refurbishment of an existing park in Caister-on-Sea. The project aimed to improve the facilities and accessibility of the park, along with increasing the biodiversity and amenity it provides.

6 Day Market Place, Great Yarmouth

The 6 Day Market Place project involved the multi-million-pound redevelopment of Great Yarmouth’s marketplace, which is a permanent 6-day market with stalls selling a range of products, including food, flowers and more.

CP Groundworks

We work collaboratively with CP Groundworks across the country to manage the delivery of civil engineering and groundworks projects as subcontractor to leading construction companies. Our services include project management, contract programmes and contract administration.

A47 Corridor Improvements, Norfolk

Greyfriars Project Management is drawing on its in-depth experience of the Planning Act 2008 and strong record of infrastructure delivery in the eastern region to support the Highways England delivery team.

A46 Newark Bypass, Newark

Having been awarded the contract to deliver the new A46 Newark Bypass by National Highways, Skanska appointed Greyfriars Project Management as the DCO (Development Consent Order) lead for the project.

World Horse Welfare Centre, Snetterton

Greyfriars Project Management worked with World Horse Welfare to deliver the redevelopment of buildings on their Snetterton site, creating new buildings and facilities that allowed the charity to better deliver the specialist care they provided for horses in need.

Angel Road Schools, Norwich

Greyfriars Project Management supported the Evolution Academy Trust in completing a time-sensitive construction project at Angel Road Infant School in Norwich.
