Transport & infrastructure

At the core of our work is the delivery of transport and infrastructure projects. The Greyfriars team have over 70 years’ experience in the delivery of infrastructure projects throughout the UK. Examples of this include supporting local highway authorities to deliver Development Consent Orders through the Planning Act 2008 for new highways and bridges.

We can provide our clients in both the public and private sectors with experienced transport planning support throughout all stages of the development planning process. This includes feasibility studies, successfully securing planning permission, and the discharge of planning conditions and requirements.

Our experience ranges from large scale highway construction projects and programmes of highway improvements through to residential development projects for private clients.

Our team have acted as expert witnesses in public enquiries, examinations in public and planning appeals.

We are able to provide Transport Assessment drafting support along with review of development proposals.
