Hunstanton Masterplan: Have Your Say on the Town’s Future

Hunstanton’s draft Masterplan is now available for public consultation. With the support of Greyfriars, the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk has published a draft Masterplan and everyone with an interest in the town’s future is encouraged to get involved and help shape the final version.

Following a series of officer and community engagement sessions, a draft Masterplan has now been published. Residents, businesses, and stakeholders are encouraged to review the proposals and take part in a public consultation to help refine the document before it is finalised and considered for adoption by the borough council.

Once agreed, the Masterplan will become the blueprint for Hunstanton’s regeneration—putting the town in a strong position to respond to future investment opportunities, inform projects such as the renewal of the sea defences and promenade, and help attract private investment.

Jon Barnard, Director at Greyfriars Project Management, said:

“It’s been fantastic to see so many people get involved in shaping the Masterplan so far. The draft Masterplan now sets out 11 strategic objectives and maps out six key areas for potential improvements including the town centre, connections to the seafront, leisure and beach facilities, and public spaces. Now is the time to have your say on these draft proposals and help ensure the final plan truly reflects the community’s ambitions for Hunstanton’s future.”
