At Greyfriars Project Management, we are proud to be playing an important role in the development of the Hunstanton Masterplan. We’re supporting the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk as they shape a long-term vision for Hunstanton’s regeneration through facilitating stakeholder engagement and public consultation, ensuring the Hunstanton Masterplan reflects the ambitions of local people, businesses, and the wider community.
Championing Stakeholder Engagement in Hunstanton
As part of the Hunstanton Masterplan, Greyfriars Project Management is leading a series of engagement sessions to capture local ideas and insights. We’re working closely with the council to deliver clear presentations and interactive workshops and making sure every voice is heard during the development of Hunstanton’s town vision.
Throughout November, we’ve been supporting the council in conversations with a wide range of local and statutory stakeholders, including parish and town councils. Additionally, our team is organising a dedicated business engagement event at Hunstanton Town Hall on 2 December. We are also preparing for wider public consultation in the New Year, so everyone has a chance to contribute.
Sustainable Regeneration and Town Centre Development
The Hunstanton Masterplan builds on the town’s strengths. It focuses on sustainable regeneration, town centre development, and seafront improvements. By bringing together opportunities identified in previous plans and strategies, the Masterplan will become a blueprint for Hunstanton’s future. Meaning, it is ready to respond to investment opportunities and support the town as a high-quality place to live, visit, and do business.
Community Collaboration at the Heart of Masterplanning
At Greyfriars, we believe that successful masterplanning and regeneration start with meaningful community collaboration. We’ve been guiding the Borough Council of King’s Lynn & West Norfolk with stakeholder mapping, clear communications, and transparent consultation. The result will be a vision for Hunstanton that is rooted in local knowledge and collective ambition.
“As a team with deep roots in West Norfolk, we are genuinely proud to be working alongside the council and the people of Hunstanton on this masterplan.
The name Greyfriars is inspired by the iconic tower in King’s Lynn and reflects our commitment to supporting local communities. That connection makes this project especially meaningful for us. I look forward to helping create a masterplan for Hunstanton that both honours its unique character and unlocks new opportunities for the future.”
— Jon Barnard, Director at Greyfriars Project Management
