Norwich-based consultancy, Greyfriars Project Management, has been named as a supplier on Crown Commercial Service’s (CCS) Management Consultancy Framework Four agreement (MCF4).
Greyfriars are named on Lot 8 – Infrastructure of the MCF4 agreement, giving public sector organisations access to expert consultancy services for major infrastructure projects across the UK. As a supplier, Greyfriars’ can be easily contracted to support Local Authority projects in critical sectors such as highways, bridges, and the development of towns and cities.
For regions like East Anglia, where economic growth depends heavily on local businesses, small and medium enterprise (SME) participation ensures that public investment stays local, contributing to job creation, stronger local economies and building regional expertise in sectors like construction and infrastructure.
Crown Commercial Service supports the public sector to achieve maximum commercial value when procuring common goods and services. In 2023/24, CCS helped the public sector to achieve commercial benefits equal to £4.9 billion – supporting world-class public services that offer best value for taxpayers.
The consultancy takes its name from the historic Greyfriars Tower in King’s Lynn – reflecting the company’s belief that infrastructure investment should strengthen the communities where it happens. While now operating on a national stage, Greyfriars remains rooted in East Anglia, combining local insight with national expertise.
Greyfriars was founded by Director Jon Barnard following a successful career in local government, where he led a multitude of sustainable transport and public projects across the region. His vision was clear: to deliver projects that truly benefit communities by driving them forward to completion to ensure the promised social and economic value is realised.
